Our friend Gus!

This is Gustave!

And today we went up his tower and this is what we saw!

After travelling all over Paris on all four HOHO (that's hop on hop off) routes we only had to line up for about 45 mins to take the elevator to the summit of the Eiffel Tower! It's HUGE and a long way down!

Our visit was great timing because we went from this...

To this!

In other news from the day...

We went to Montmartre - Mount of Martyrs.

Apparently, the first Bishop of Paris, Denis, was beheaded and picked up his head and walked off with it! I know!!!

Visited Sacre Couer

And played windmill!

Just in case you didn't know that we went up the Eiffel Tower today we thought we would include a couple of photos!

  2. Ooh, Paris! It's got everything doesn't it. I love the view from the Eiffel tower, just stunning. You two lazy shits took the elevator! I've climbed that bloody thing twice! Joel made me climb it! We did get the elevator up to the top, which I wasn't that keen on, bloody hell it's a long way up isn't it, but stunning. Sorry Andrew was busy yesterday, but I'm back. Keep up those selfies girls. Snails, snails, snails, I want pictures and you must try them. When are you going to the de orsay? Take a picture of the huge polar bear - if he is still there. We loved it there. Snails, clap clap clap, snails, clap clap clap, snails, clap clap clap, snails, clap clap clap! I want proof. Photo each of you eating one! Song of the day - that song of Kylie minogue - cant remember what it was called, but some French stuff! Have fun and take care. Joel. Joel and Oscar xxxxxx

  3. Hope Gustave doesn't mind all those people climbing his tower all day. Great view from up there. Andrew, go to the "Antiques" house down towards Jo Anne's old house in Edenhope, sure she will have fridge doors suitable for photos. Cheers FOA

  6. so not The Locomotion? Now Girl Joel, lets not go forgetting our working class roots, just because we have more friends in Paris this week than in Frankston

Ok, song for tomorrow, do you know Jingle Hells Bells by Bob Rivers?

    Well, let me introduce you:

    We like bar fights
    We like nose rings
    We like eating snails
We always indulge in our favorite things
No wonder our skin's so pale

Girls in black leather with tight little tushes
Tattoos on big bosoms of prickly rose bushes
Silver stretch limos that come when I ring
These are a few of my favorite things

    We like bar fights
    We like nose rings
    We like eating snails
We always indulge in our favorite things
No wonder our skin's .... so pale!
