Roma

Today we journeyed from Como to Rome. Quiet a distance at over 600km but the fast train got us here in four hours with a change over in Milan! We love fast trains!

We also love Rome! So far this afternoon we have fought the hordes at the Trevi Fountain...

...and enjoyed a piccolo gelati from the shop on the street to the right (I think it was the one people say has the best gelati - if not we will have to try again tomorrow. It is only a 5 minute walk from our Hotel).

We sat a while on the Spanish Steps...

...along with hundreds of others!

When the bells at Trinità dei Monti rang we decided to run up the steps and go to mass!

Luckily we actually caught Vespers instead which was sung entirely by the Brothers and Sisters! Amazing! We'll have to search for another Church for mass tomorrow!

View of St Peter's from the top of the Spanish Steps.

We are a bit tired already of playing 'high 5 Father' and 'lookin' good Sister' but we will play on!!!
